Rhode Island 2-Day Professional Development - 6-12
Join us for an exciting science professional development facilitated by Brett Moulding. This professional development will model three-dimensional science instruction and provide details and insights into science teaching and learning consistent with the NGSS.
This professional development engages teachers in investigations that model effective science teaching and learning. Participants will be engaged in developing a deeper understanding of how to transform your science instruction to better match the current research in teaching and learning. Teachers will leave with a complete set of investigations and lesson for their grade-level or subject area. All investigations are aligned to the NGSS. Registration includes lunch, the latest GRC book, and all session materials.

Teachers from surrounding states are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Sessions begin at 8:30 am each day and end at 3 pm.

- · Grade-level Specific Live-Online Lesson Plan Development and Alignment sessions are available as a follow-up during the school year. Each live online session will be grade-level specific and occur during the 2020 school year. Each session is $50 and can be added to the registration. These are after-school sessions that have 3-5 teachers working together to develop instructional resources specific to local phenomena.
